The color of the Salmon Berry in spring.

One of the first signs of spring is the blossoming of the salmon berry bush and the emergence of its distinctive bright green leaves. The pink flowers are so delicate but the stock is robust.

At Semiahmoo in 1858, George Gibbs recorded the native name of the salmon berry as to’hk_tum.
